Spring 2025

​

Jennifer Hartfield/Chroma Pop: to fund workshops that awaken creativity by 

painting terra cotta planters and glass vases at Easton’s 9S Studios.    

 

Kentavius Jones: to help fund a multi-media recording project that includes original music and visual art at Easton Art Academy.

​

Nanticoke Historic Preservation Alliance: to provide support for a living history

interpreter at NHPA’s annual celebration of Native American culture.

 

Rescue Fire Company: to help offset the expense of moving Cambridge’s annual  Train Garden to a temporary venue during renovation of the old firehouse.

​

ShoreRivers: to support the creation of outdoor, nature-based murals for Choptank Elementary School students.

​

Fall 2024

​

Awaken Recovery Foundation: to fund art therapy classes for women overcoming addiction at Awaken's Cambridge locations.

​

Ed Krell: to provide needed supplies to one of Dorchester County's most prolific and community-minded artists.

​

Charles Freeman: to offset costs for moving the Community Steinway from Cambridge to a suitable and accessible Easton location that houses a recording studio and artist space.

​

Summer 2024

​

All4Love: to support printing photographs from the “Just a Kid from Cambridge” project, an offshoot of the organization’s Next Gen Mentoring Program. 

 

Friends of the Dorchester County Public Library: to support the purchase of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering Arts, and Math) related books for the children’s section of the Cambridge and Hurlock libraries.

 

Improv Easton: to facilitate improvisation workshops for educators, mental health providers, faith leaders, artists, and administrators.

 

Mid-Shore Community Band: to purchase new music and help cover costs of

performing in accessible locations.

 

New Creation Marching Unit: to purchase material to make uniforms for community marching band members ranging in age from five-years-old to adult.

 

Wednesday Morning Artists: to offset cost of a Raku clay workshop for a diverse group of artists at Peach Blossom Community Center.

 

WorldWide Hope: to help preserve traditional Mexican folklore through youth-

based dance and storytelling initiatives.
